Companion! I've been hungry since morning," pleaded Nazir, rubbing his stomach in desperation.

"You said you have been hungry since morning. I haven't eaten since last night, so I'm also hungry. Let's take a seat at the intersection; maybe somebody will give us aid," answered the penniless with a wry grin.

The two of them got their asking bowls and settled at the intersection, where a bowl loaded up with aid was at that point set.
